1 can tuna, drained
½ C. frozen peas
2 T. butter
2 T. flour
1 C. milk
Salt and pepper to taste
English muffins
- Melt butter over low heat in heavy sauce pan
- Blend in flour and seasonings
- Cook over low heat, stirring until mixture is smooth and bubbly
- Remove from heat and stir in milk
- Place back on heat and bring to a boil, stirring constantly
- Add in tuna and continue stirring
- Add frozen peas during last minute of cooking time
- Serve over toasted English muffins
